What Are You Listening To?

still coming down off of the Iggy show

Sonic Youth - Confusion Is Sex / Kill Yr. Idols
Sonic Youth - Bad Moon Rising
Hum - You'd Prefer an Astronaut

An overlooked Masterpiece
The Stereo Twins - Good News
new pj harvey - not really enjoying it.
a bit of a lecture.
monotonous male background vocals are annoying.
"let england shake" had better tunes and more captivating subject matter, to me.
oops.
I don't like the new PJ either. Let England Shake was my #1 record of the year it came out, but this one is just a slog and not interesting or catchy at all. Oh well, I usually dislike every third record of hers (Uh Huh, White Chalk)
Skating Polly - The Big Fit

RIYL L7, Babes in Toyland, Veruca Salt, Belly

I love everything these step-sisters put out.  90s alt rock fans would probably like this group and album (their 4th, I recommend the others as well).
Trying to refamiliarize myself with Heartless Bastards, hoping they go heavy on the Mountain and Arrow at their show, and less so on the last album.

I wonder if they'd sell me a ticket for 50% to come in catch half the show? I should familiarize myself with the Old 97's if I decide to go to ensure maximum profit on my ticket purchase.
I wouldn't go for more than $0.037 per note.

how are you calculating the notes?

while less than 4cents a note sound cheap, I think you'd be paying $54 for a 6 pack
Sonic Youth - EVOL
joe strummer - gangsterville rsd 12" ep
the wilderness years - even in his lean times he wrote some wonderful songs.
although i saw the 'combat rock' tour, still kicking myself for missing those mescaleros shows.
