Today at 2pm est @wxpnfm will be broadcasting a Scott McMicken and THE EVER-EXPANDING Concert on world cafe live! We went and played at their excellent facility on april 21 and now it will be available to check out. Theres an interview as well. Xpn.org is how you will be able to find access to tune into the airwaves at 2pm est. does this seem clear?

The 'Mats - Let It Be

The level of chaos on this album is amazing, especially on "We're Coming Out" what a 2:21 that is

And is probably a controversial take their version of "Black Diamond" is far superior than the original. 

on the expanded version of this there is a out take of "20th Century Boy" which was left on the cutting room floor as it's just an OK version.

Yeah…I hate to say it but I found it underwhelming and sold my 3LP copy a while ago

Can We Do Tomorrow Another Day?


Galen & Paul  aka Galen Ayers and Paul Simonon  (yes that Paul Simonon)

Galen Ayers daughter of Kevin Ayers (Soft Machine) and Paul do the so called  Troubadour singer/songwriting duo act together.  Does Paul have a great singer voice?  Not really but it works in this context.  They shift easily between English and Spanish lyrics on these songs.

Backing them on this record it's basically an offshoot of the The Good, The Bad And The Queen with Simon Tong on Guitar and Damon Albran adding some melodica on a couple of tracks.  The whole affair is produced by Tony Visconti

It's a bit carefree and defnitely growing on me…

was skeptical at first, but gives a great Serge Gainsbourg feel more than anything else
growing on me, Paul's voice goes great in a duet and this style kinda works with his limited range
