I do owe Neil some money…its true.

Everything i've always bought from him has been used and I've never seen him live. Never bought a Neil shirt.. I'm a bad bad man

That's so true - listen to those 2 songs back to back and it's like a 20 minute fever dream.
I think they really complement each other.
Neil really lures you in on that album - "Walk On" seems amiable enough, but by the time you get to the end of "Ambulance Blues", you're just stunned, laughing/crying, hard to put into words.  It's a beautiful feeling.
enjoying this until Hutch brought up "On The Beach"…

Josh Dean Guitar and Vox
Dave Fell Drums and Vox
Abram Sanders Drums and Vox

I guess a DC stop is looking very unlikely… I'm a sad panda

the Wayward - in Alphabetical Order

Nick from Multicult side project.  Noise rock.  RIYL Multicult.  They play the same night as the Thrushes show, so hopefully catching both bands sets will be doable.
Is The Wayward really a side project? This band has been around forever. Long before Multicult. They can be good live sometimes. I've seen them really rock but also on "off nights" haha
True, but I think he is focusing on Multicult.
Multicult are pretty rad, he should do double duty on a show or tour sometime. Both his bands would go well together. I really like Rebecca, Multicult's bassist. I remember seeing her in Fight Amp a long time ago at the Talking Head (best era of that band to me) not only does she rock but also very nice.

Killer Be Killed. Members of: Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta with none other than Max Cavalera (Sepultura, Nailbomb, Soulfly). Pretty decent modern heavy metal. http://www.metalsucks.net/2014/05/07/killer-killed-album-premiere/

Great new project from the leader of De Novo Dahl, a band who were ahead of their time and sorely missed by me.

The interplay between her bass and Nick's guitars is so good… They are on track on be the band that I see the most of this year (3 times so far).
Miley Cyrus - Bangerz
Midget - Jukebox
