Sounds good but really short..only 10 songs.
Not a huge departure from Everything all the Time, which I think is a good thing. I like it after a few interrupted listens - I'm looking forward to listening to it uninterrupted on the plane tomorrow.

Thanks again!
Such a pity that these guys are no more. I've loved this album for years, and have played it probably a dozen times in the last few weeks.

Also been digging this, for some new metal.

At the moment am listening to the new Shout Out Louds. Hasn't really grabbed me yet, but HHGG didn't grab me immediately either and I ended up loving that record.

Get these guys a prominent place on Grey's Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Ugly Betty, Private Practice, etc and they'll be huge.

Odd, but strangely compelling. Its a song-by-song "cover" of Black Flag's Damaged, though you'd never know it unless you listened very closely to the lyrics. RIYL Sufjan Stevens, I'd say.
Witchcraft - The Alchemist

This is a groovy record. It doesn't really sound like Dungen, but it has that same don't-they-know-what-year-this-is? vibe. Looking forward to seeing them at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in November.
This is the latest hipster shit making the rounds in my office. I thought it was kind of boring at first, but the more I heard it, the more I liked it.

What field are you in that people in your office actually listen to hip music?

My wife is always bitching about the boring-ass people that she works with, and how she has nothing in common with them. When she returns to work, she'd like to work in a younger, hipper office…does such a thing even exist in the DC area?

VW is all the rage on KEXP. i'll have to listen at some point.

She's going to be a stay at home mum for awhile, but maybe you guys are up her alley. Certainly more so that where she works now.

I don't need a job, but I have developed a cough. Thanks…

But I'm listening to it ironically. It just leaked and I have to work late. Some of it is actually pretty catchy and it's interesting to hear the best modern pop production money can buy!
