took me almost 30 years to realize that most of those great ska songs were covers. I always thought they were originals. 
I always knew the clash did a few covers, but somehow never did the homework to realize that the same was for all my favorite ska bands

but that Labi song …just on some random spotify mix and I was like…I know this song, but somethin is not right.  I looked at the cover and was like, this doesn't make sense
