new ty segall.  good stuff, as usual.
altj, new, one, and it, is good.
The new Inspiral Carpets stuff surfacing is REALLY friggin' good. The b-side "Controller" is one of my favorite things they've done. Sounds like 60's garage rock.
The Inspiral Carpets sounding like 60's garage rock? Great to hear they are branching out!

Hell yeah! I love them, I will definitely be getting this.
ive heard one song off the new you,two album . . . and it was, pretty, darn, good.
Meeks - Beatless (shoegaze covers of Beatles tunes) from 2013.  Meeks = Broken Little Sister, an excellent Japanese shoegaze band, who did a great job on these tunes (I am not a Beatles fan but love this album). It is worth seeking out if you are a fan of shoegaze, or the Beatles.
(I have the album but here is a link to the album on YouTube, if anyone cant find it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfm-fehAYx0&feature=youtu.be )

Pretty great stuff. Way, way better than Drukqs.
I am going to wait to get a copy of Syro before I listen to it (minus that first preview song).

Right now I am loving the new Interpol, and will possibly try to grab a ticket for one of their sets.  I think it is a return to form, and I personally love it way more than that last disappointing record.

I agree on that, the best since Antics. Wish that show was a different weekend.
My favorite was Our Love to Admire, but Antics and Turn on the Bright Lights are extremely close behind.  I will need to listen to El Pintor at least a few more times to see where it lands; but on first listen, it definitely surpasses the boring self titled album.

As for seeing them, the last/only time I saw them was at Virgin Fest in 2007.  The rain started when the guitarist played the first few notes.  It was magical.

But, at least two board members saw them earlier this year and told me it was the worst set either had seen this year.  Hopefully I can find a ticket on StubHub and see for myself!
