Those two bonus tracks + the Bruce cover are damn near perfection.
I think it's funny when the dj refers to Bonny Light Horseman as a "supergroup."
Durand Jones & The Indications - Witchoo

this should put to ease any concerns about Aaron Frazers involvement with the band… First single from the forthcoming album and he's out doing lead vocals on it… and it's a nice little groover… i suspect we will get some of his solo stuff in the bands set as well.. gonna move that solo merch.

Molly Tuttle
I always go back to this one..the percussionist from buena vista had the least heralded buena vista solo project.. I think it didn’t help that he keeled over after it came out

Anyways it’s got flaws but i obviously find something in it… it’s at times jazzy and modern (turntablist)…

hutch, you inspired me to queue up this album… perfection.

So I don't know a whole lot about Anga

but, he was only 45 when he died of a heart attack  So not one of the old guys from BVSC
also looks like he was only a part of the touring group, was not on the album or in the movie

isn't even listed as a 'solo' album from the BVSC

Well it’s definitely related… it’s just obscure
actually just read that pretty much played on all the solo BVSC releases

he played on albums by Afro-Cuban All Stars, Omara Portuondo, Ruben Gonzalez, Ibrahim Ferrer and others.

I did catch that tour (was it the kennedy center or the lyric?) and remember a youngish congo player pretty much going nuts the whole show while the rest of the band was fairly mellow
Lee Perry - Arkology “Dub Shepherd “
