Pretty sure I was at that show, but my memory is fuzzy
New GBV - Earth Man Blues -  Pretty damn solid outing for Uncle Bob and the boys

Sweet! I am getting it later this week

(And yes I ordered from artist store)

I really hope they announce a fall show at Ottobar
Remi Wolf's Disco Man, remix by Hot Chip . . . is giving me, all the feels.
Teenage Fanclub - Endless Arcade

vs

The Coral - Coral Island

both out last Friday and while the TFC is a great listen, The Coral with their ambitious double album complete with narration by two of the band members grandfather is the one sure to get more repeat listens

as a side note it's amazing how many different colored vinyl variants they sell in the UK for the same release, as well as what they called Dinked editions, which come with among other things bonus singles, flexi disc, posters, die cut sleeves.  Dinked editions are super limited as well…
I feel like Teenage Fanclub are done…even their last few albums with Gerald Love are boring… and now that he left not sure I see point…

I am listening to this for first time in a while

Heedfest 2021??  They have ton of new albums to support and new Boston Spaceships coming out this summer; but I'll take an Ottobar show!

I listened to the new Teenage Fanclub and the new Dino Jr back to back and i couldn't help to think that old bands tend to start sounding the same in the same way that old people tend to start looking the same.
The Beachy Head LP is fantastic.

I have the POP album

This LP  compiled the three first Tones on Tail singles

Anyways bought this yesterday for $5… it’s not in great condition but a nice and necessary addition

doesn't contain Go or Twist….most important (IMO) ToT songs are not on either
Go is of course on the US POP as is Twist

If you have my new pickup and the US POP you are good
The Coral record is definitely a top 10 for me this year…

I'm a bit obsessed with this one "Take Me Back To The Summertime"… it's a bit of a pop song turducken, lets call it a Coratlenks

Chris Isaak - Silvertone

man this takes me back and i'm remembering all these songs like i just heard the record last week..  many years since i've heard this one

James Calvin Wilsey is an unknown legend
Second on JCW. Silvertone had the Twin Peaks vibe five years before the show. It's like David Lynch got Elvis to make a Roy Orbison record. Too bad it's so overlooked nowadays, but it's the listener's loss.
Best album by these guys

Still , the 2001 compilation Los Reyes de la canción (kings of song) is the way to hear them..

I been feeling nostalgic listening to these guys, Manu Chao and Los fabulosos Cadillacs
