What Are You Listening To?

The Delgados have a twitter account now, so by law one must listen to their catalog.  Currently it's Hate

Brief history of the delgados.

In 1994 four guitarists decided to form a band. Two were promoted to drums and bass. 5 albums were recorded over 10 years. In 2005 two guitarists, a drummer and a bass player decided to stop the band.
JAMC - Darklands
Prince - Sign Of The Times

really is a remarkable album and i have another 124 tracks to stream
Got through a couple of the outtakes  discs from the SOTT and nothing so far jumps out as OMG this should have been released at the time to make the world a better place, just average Prince output which of course is better than others outtakes…

Hey, this band is rather nifty!  Thanks!
Waterboys - A Pagan Place
Is anybody watching that pollstar / facebook thing at 2:00?
Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast: Season 2 - American Beauty.

Each episode dives deep into one song from the album, in order. Based on Season 1 (Workingman's Dead), this should be excellent.
Type O Negative - October Rust
Jazz Giants 58 LP on Verve
Denise Johnson  - Where Does It Go

Denise Johnson know for her vocals on a variety of recordings, passed away prior to her debut album being released.  It's a simple affair of acoustic guitar and her amazing voice.

Kevin Rowland - My Beauty

His album of covers with the at the time an interesting choice of photo on the front cover… Not even sure this was ever released in the US… and in this day and age the cover would probably been seen a little less revealing… based on the reactions I saw during the listening party for it, it appears to be equally loved and maligned at the same time
Ugh…Was just getting ready to do the #timstwitterlisteningparty for cornershop…and of course my kid needs to get picked up
Sometimes adulting is no fun
