Trojan boxes are great
couldn't agree more…although collecting them is out of my budget right now

I got 14 boxes at a record store for $2 apiece this week including this one..very exciting score…
someone made a trojan box set play list on spotify….1600 songs!
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/18HDEJPPBxaUCE8jR3scE4

albeit..not collecting…but you can still listen to them in all their Jamaican glory
That’s big…total is 3500 but not including repeats about 3100
i must say i am very proud of this group, i really feeling we are maturing as a collective: not a single joke about "Trojan boxes"…

well done team.
Those Trojan boxsets are great and you should be able to find them cheaply.  I've got ~15 of them, mostly purchased through Overstock.com more than a decade ago.
Well they are out of print but if one persists should be able to track them down over time and that is what I am doing…I think originally they sold for $9.99… it’s a way to go beyond the typical 50 reggae tracks not by Bob Marley we usually get on compilations and be introduced to a lot of stuff
Charlotte Gainsbourg- Rest

I had not heard this…came out at the very end of 2017..it’s excellent….much more enjoyable for me than her previous stuff…kind of like her singing over a bunch of daft punk-ish tracks
Tom Petty - She’s the One soundtrack

Under appreciated gem 💎

Ahem. Mr. Tom Petty.

Puts a bounce in your step
Trojan instrumentals box set
Wow…that is good stuff!
Fontaines, D.C.
Sad I missed out on tickets to this.
Unloved - Heartbreak

I'm a fan of all the projects that David Holmes is involved in and Unloved is no different.  Several songs on this one were used in Killing Eve.  Dig this groups take on 60s pop filtered through a little shoegaze

The Specials - Encore

While I'm enjoying their long awaited return, it does feel a bit like a Fun Boy Three(Two) record with the ghosts of Rico and Dammers lurking around.  The best tracks are the spoke word ones B.L.M. and 10 Commandments with Saffiyah Khan who went viral wearing a Specials t-shirt while shouting down racists at protest.

Duke Ellington- Latin American Suite

Really enjoying it

Before this was New Orleans Suite

I find a lot to like in this completely dismissed Lennon album
The harder they come soundtrack

This has to be amongst the most amazing soundtracks ever….always works no matter some of the songs being overplayed
