What Are You Listening To?

I don't see any pics…

dyecraig, I was at the Stones show too. I have to say I was beyond disappointed by the sound. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but it was atrocious. Probably the last stadium show I'll ever attend.
The pictures can only be seen by those who look.
Bully - Feels Like
Jason Isbell - Southeastern

true, sound was not fantastic, but not a surprise at that (or any stadium) venue.
back row of the 200's under cover (at least) for the pre-show monsoon.
would have liked to clearly hear lisa fischer's wailing on 'gimme shelter'….
did get chills from karl denson's solo on 'brown sugar' - took it to another level (respect to mr. keys)

Refused - Freedom

This is my first time listening to them.  I thought I would check them out since they are opening for Faith No More.  Not too shabby so far… I will need to check out their back catalog soon…

Leon Bridges - Coming Home

Not completely won over by this one yet, but "Brown Skin Girl" is one boss track.

Gonna need to hear this, too. I have most of the back catalog and while most recommend their last album before the split, my favorite is Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent.
Oh, and I'm listening to Marshall Crenshaw. Picked up his first 2 lps for a buck each today.

I am now listening to the remastered version of Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent.
Failure - the Heart of a Monster
Lard - Pure Chewing Satisfaction
The Yes Album
Pianos Become the Teeth - Keep You

pete townshend's 'classic quadrophenia'
about 4 cuts into this and still smiling and enjoying it (could have gone horribly wrong).
if you know and love the original you may too.
orchestral arrangements by pete's wife - new appreciation for pete's orchestral vision on the originals.
if you ever wanted to hear "ZOOT SUIT! WHITE JACKET WITH SIDEBURNS! FIVE INCHES LONG!" shouted by an opera singer, here's your opportunity.

Wavves X Cloud Nothings - ST

I do not really care for or about band (they are fine I guess but I never got into either of them) but combined, wow.  Not bad!
I am listening to the following albums of music, because they are good, so believe it, whether you do, or not.

Alaska Thunderfuck 5000  -  ANUS

Willam  -  SHARTISTRY IN MOTION
