What Are You Listening To?

I can't get enough of either Two Lone Swordsmen's Wrong Meeting or Wrong Meeting II. For you trainspotters out there it's a project from Andrew Weatherall the producer behind Primal Scream's dead brilliant "Screamadelica" record along with several dance tracks and remixes over the years.

It's scuzzy blues with dashes of keyboards. It harkens back to early New Order with a more of a swagger to it. Both available on eMusic.

Two Lone Swordsmen
the voices in my head, when the cacophony dies down sufficiently to form a coherent message. typically something to do with killing infidels, tracking down famous starlets to express my undying love, or ice cream. i much prefer when they call for ice cream, a lot cheaper in dry cleaning bills.

this might be a bad morning for a newbie to post a stoopid question.
are you going crazy again?

Just finished listening to:

Total chill out music. New song can be found here.

Now I'm listening to:

Streaming here. It's already grabbing me quicker than the last album. Cannot wait to see them at Lolla.

this album is pretty damn near perfect … it's albums like these that keep me from listening to new music sometimes … if you know there's a 98% chance it won't stack up to hundreds of albums you could listen to, then why even waste the time?
Prefuse 73 - Expressing views is obviously illegal
Though some of the tracks might change day to day, if I had to make a list of the top 10 songs ever written, "Sugar Cube" would easily be on that list every single time. It's just perfect.

I always try to turn up Sugar Cube, Damage and Deeper Into Movies louder but it never goes as loud as I need it to. Their cover of Little Honda is so restrained but driven. You can see the guitarist just standing there rocking the hell out of that song. This album is so damn good that I have a hard time listening to other YLT albums.

I concur with the superlatives for I Can Hear… but I don't think its the only praiseworthy YLT album.

The above was one of my 2006 favorites. And Nothing Turned Itself… and Fakebook are excellent as well.
Agreed…I'd even add May I Sing with Me to the list. All are pretty much flawless, IMO.
