HotD was my first cure album and IMO is one of, if not, their best
Staring/standing at the beac/sea also came out right at this time, so I did a deep dive into their catalogue with out having to buy 6 more albums

Hutch got me the Ween Vinyl box set a few years ago of 12CG-Moll-WP and the past week I've been thoroughly enjoying watching the Brown, Green and White platters go round and round

So fuckin good… I saw them in Buenos Aires in 2001 and at the State Theatre about 12 years ago…hope they come back…met most of them

It occurred to me that even though they are not salsa per se they opened me up to that music

The second disc is so good

I was not aware of this set of 60 Gainsbourg reggae dubs that came out in 2015…previously unreleased…Serge’s reggae stuff has aged so well ; Sly, Robbie and the Revolutionaries with the I-Threes…awesome

Expanded editions of albums are dumb and I don't know why they released versions of Mars Audiac Quintet and Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements (the reunion tour, I guess?) but goddamn those albums rule
