What Are You Listening To?

As for seeing them, the last/only time I saw them was at Virgin Fest in 2007.  The rain started when the guitarist played the first few notes.  It was magical.
I was there for that as well. Very fitting. I loved that entire mainstage the last half of that day: Spoon -> Panic! At The Disco -> Yeah Yeah Yeahs (one of the best sets I've ever seen) -> Interpol -> Pumpkins

Well, maybe I didn't *love* Panic, but it was amusing to see them try so hard and basically get a bunch of folks ten years older than their target audience stare at them blankly.
Liked his previous album, but that one's a little too un-country for me.

i thought this album was excellent.
Loving this one.

I've been listening to a lot of Dan Wilson/Semisonic lately
Multicult - Variable Impulse
First Kacey Musgraves independently released album,  it's a pleasant listen
Iceage - Plowing Into The Field of Love
Peru Bravo: Funk, Soul & Psych From Peru's Radical Decade.

Think what Brownout but in the 60s
Depreciation Guild - Spirit Youth

i am bopping around digging hard this album like a twenty something year old who has no care in the world and whos job does not control them.  this is where the strokes have evolved, properly.
That album got horrible horrible reviews, but I really like the song they've been playing on SiriusXMU. Is the rest of the album as weird? I like the weirdness. A little teeny bit like Brainiac.

^^I also thought this.

I didn't realize this was getting bad reviews, tbh, but I really like it and am going to see them next weekend in Charlottesville.
