Maybe my favorite of the year.

I am regretting skipping seeing him in Baltimore even more after listening to it twice today.
rowland s. howard - pop crimes ($10 new vinyl from fat possum)
I am ending the year by purchasing Technicolor Teeth - Can You Keep Me out of Hell, Whirr/Nothing Split, and Clockcleaner - Nevermind.

john grant - live in concert w/bbc philharmonic orchestra
was really looking forward to this, but the orchestra arrangements are borderline cheesy and they really hit some godawful clangers - i'm sure this was very expensive to put together, but they sure could have used a bit more rehearsal time.
Mike Will Made It ft. iLoveMakonnen "Swerve"

omg omg omg so good i can't stop listening to it omg omg omg
I finally got around to listening to two albums that have been on my list forever:

Johnny Cash American VI and Willie (Nelson) and the Wheel

Both are really good….no surprise there..

I found it interesting that Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, Smokey Hormel (currently in Beck's band) and even Jonny Polonski (mispelled Jonny Poloski) played on American VI… the Avett Brothers are on the title track (Ain't No Grave)….

Benmont Tench, at this point, has probably participated on more great sessions than anybody of his generation..he is everywhere..

The 3 new Manson tracks are all solid. Actually some of the best stuff I think he's done in years. Should be a great show at FSS.
I am looking forward to it!  8)
I am finally getting around to listening to GOAT - Commune.

I Love it.
Wolf Eyes - Human Animal
