What Are You Listening To?

Not the new release but I have an EP I bought a year or two ago and everything was lost on me. Even had a song linked up on Air Atlantic Underground Radio when I first started broadcasting the station but had to stop streaming it because the song was getting on my nerves so badly. Honestly don't know if I'm just listening to the wrong releases or if that band and I don't mesh. I do want to hear it though since so many others with similiar tastes seem to like it.
It's nothing earth-shattering but I thought it was pretty solid and enjoyable.

Must be her last performance (October 2008) at Golden Gate Park. Biggest regret of 2008 = didn't fly to SF to see her and the rest of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass fest  :'(

Flac's on Dime.
I'm not sure what that is, but I think I've just been hypnotized.
It's Animal Collective's new one, Merriweather Post Pavillion…

Did NPR get promo copies? And if so, how about ripping me one to flac? :)
If we did get any promos, I sure haven't seen them. I've inserted myself into the comp chain, but there's like a dozen hipsters who hover all over the mailroom looking for the free shit. I got it over the waves like everyone else. Initially had the 2-track vinyl rip, but eventually found 192 copies at ease.
Everything uploaded to the torrent sites has been  immediately yanked because they're all either transcodes of that 128 vinyl rip or the 160 cd rip.

So aggrevating.

The 160 sounds ok but each track is so densely layered with sound that I'm sure quite a bit is being lost.
first single of eminem's new album - meh.

also recently dug up this one:

radiohead's "ok computer" in a reggae style, from the people who brought us "dub side of the moon".  just about any song can be turned into reggae, but it seems like this album was the perfect one for the treatment.  this album is a guilty pleasure of mine.
