What Are You Listening To?

Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage
post-Christmas  late night jamz
Sepultura - Arise
new to me : flamin' groovies - "flamingo" (has that 'chuck berry thing' going) and "teenage  head" (like a great lost stones album ).

yes yes both excellent!

I was listening to Def Leppard's On Through the Night and some more The Fall…
Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion (2006 Japan release)
I got a dehumidifier going here in the basement…my portable turntable is on but nothing is playing.. I vaguely hear the distant murmur of the TV (Sunday Night Football)
Sonny Stitt's Mr Bojangles..
fack I hate this record..so schmaltzy..

only redeemable thigns are Hannah on electric piano and cornell Dupree on a great guitar solo or two.. otherwise its like elevator music

after seeing the von trapps, live twice, at the Lincoln and the Kennedy,  i am enjoying there ep and album.

leslie hall, explosion, meaning all her stuff til you cant take it any longer.

robyn, body talk . . . not sure if i like it or not.  its ok, then its good, then its huh, then its what.  i think there was a Britney snl skit or something like that.

coldplay, new album, is now really good.

not sure i like trey's new album, paper wheels.  thought it was not quality anastasio.

There's this band, they're called, The Beatles. You should, check them out.

im listening to what spotify has to offer, after the HUGE press release of them.  My favorite has always been the white album followed by sgt. pepper.  the end on the bealtes.  john's solo work was the only thing that mattered from the lot of them, after the break. ok, maybe stuff by George, too.
Paul is the most talented Beatle by far. George is second.
wow.  again, wow.

sonny clark - cool struttin'
