Still enjoy this one. Definitely a noticeable Smiths influence.
Back in the day I got this tape for free when I forgot to send my card in saying I didn’t want the record club monthly selection

A contender for my favorite album.
I bought this for $56 all in on epay. This is the kind of shit that gives record collectors a very bad name. I must have ten other vinyl copies but what jumped out at me was the non promo white label on side 2 with a regular label on side one. Probably just a mistake but for such an important record I just couldn’t help buying it. A third pressing probably from the same year as the first and second: 1975. I will probably submit it to the searching for a gem website and see if they take it and what they think if anything.
The music as always: glorious. Has anybody ever made a movie around Lily Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts?

Lordy I love me some Natalie circa 1993.

Yes…those extra tracks are great…Dallas (Flatlanders), Let the Mystery Be (Iris Dement)
I think I stopped listening to Natalie cause it reminds me of a person I don’t want to be reminded of…
Anyways I came here to say I am still listening to the Phosphorescent tribute album “To Willie”
It’s really good. I like it so much I bought a copy on lp for $17 on Amazon but haven’t opened it yet so listening to the cd. This really is one of the best single artist tribute albums out there. Real grower.

Say what you want about Julian, but I think this was a sincere inquiry as to the identity of the creator.
And here I thought he was enjoying the weather and had his ear to the tiny little buds popping out

I love this Cindy Lee opus

(one two hour track)
I've listened to this dozens of times and really can't get enough of it
I typically don't even look at what side I'm putting on, just grab one of the 3 LPs and what ever one I pick that side get's played
the hype was justified
although not sure about 9.1 on pitchfork, but possibly one of my favorites of 2024
was looking at the tags and found this an interesting genre: hypnagogic pop

Whenever I see that word, my brain wants to pronounce it “Get Seth Money” and I kinda feel seen.
