If I ever hear another REM song I will want to blow my brains out.. they are definitely a band I do not get at all…i mean i was into them for a bit.. but any band that can write the song "stand" you have to be like WTF? I would take the much maligned we built this city over that turd…

My roomate in college for 2 years.. his favorite bands were U2 and REM.. he played them all the fuckin' time.. then the summer after his junior year he discovered All/Descendents
