There is nothing face melting about B+S.

rsd release - good for a day inside
White Stripes "Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine"

One of my favorite Stripes songs.
I love taking everything the white stripes have released, and listen to it all, back to back.

Their first 2 are guitar classics to me. I love playing that early insanely blues-y stuff Jack wrote. "Offend In Every Way", "I Think I Smell A Rat" omg. So good.
I still, don't know how that much power and talent could come, from two people.
Jack White is amazing. I wish his newer stuff was more guitar centric. Even all the stuff he wrote in The Raconteurs, to me, was more straight rock n roll than his solo stuff. I still love his solo stuff, but listening to old Stripes records makes me pine even more for that.

Sheer power from a duo? I'll go with Death From Above 1979, because duh.  ;D
You know . . . I dont think i have ever listened to a song by them. I'll go change that today.
Do it! They only have 2 albums and 1 EP. All kick ass.

Speaking of which:

Royal Blood "Hole"

isn't there another album with a similar cover?
Mars Volta "Frances The Mute" possibly?
I love getting on music kicks.

ive been cranking catalogs of vampire weekend, coldplay, the strokes, sufjan, faith no more (duh), l7 (double duh), st Vincent, smashing pumpkins, and phish . . . since ive been cooped up.

it is amazing, what music can do, for your well being and your state of current affairs.  I like to dance around in my kitchen when no one is looking.
Speaking of The Strokes, Little Joy came on my random play. Ugh. How did this album come out 7 years ago!? One of my favorites for sure. This is a summer album.
listen to each one, in order, back to back.  hear the maturity and the cross lined style they went through.  fucking, a.

I don't think I've listened to a Strokes album since their second release, but damn were those first two albums great, eh?

I actually listened to the third one after the Julian Casablancas show in October for the first time since the year it was released and, man, it is way better than I remembered.

I was never huge into them. Oddly enough I liked their solo stuff better. Weird.
