alt-j.  man.  like if the essence of indie and all things hip could merge the gap between coldplay and pink floyd.  how are they this good.  it makes you stop what you are doing, and really listen to what is going on there.

I was just listening to the Animals Animalism LP from 66… boy is it boring.. that is one band I don't get..

i take that back about what i said about christmas albums, sufjan . . . i should have known better.  this one is awesome.

The last one he put out is the only Christmas album that I like.  I will definitely check it out (and give it as a gift to my parents so they dont have to keep listening to the same, tired Christmas jams.

New York Dolls S/T

I have a strange relationship with this album. Some aspects of it annoy me but, somehow, I think its one of the great rock and roll records and I keep going back to it.

For example on Frankenstein Johansen bugs me at the end but Thunders is kicking ass minute after minute and it works.
