What Are You Listening To?

alt-j. man. like if the essence of indie and all things hip could merge the gap between coldplay and pink floyd. how are they this good. it makes you stop what you are doing, and really listen to what is going on there.

Alt-J sounds like that fun. band
I was just listening to the Animals Animalism LP from 66… boy is it boring.. that is one band I don't get..

(i like Neil btw, paid more money to see him than any other single artist at one time)
New York Dolls S/T
I have a strange relationship with this album. Some aspects of it annoy me but, somehow, I think its one of the great rock and roll records and I keep going back to it.
For example on Frankenstein Johansen bugs me at the end but Thunders is kicking ass minute after minute and it works.

Free EP from future pop/garage/chillstep artist Koda:
An alias used by electronic/future beat/future pop musician Jordan Sudak. His music is characterized by strong driving bass, dark, sweeping synths, and modulated R&B style vocals.
(This is probably the most poppy and easily accessible thing I will post)
