He put out some of the best weird folk I've heard in the past.


This album is as generic alt-country as it gets. Well I take that back; Sky Blue Sky is but this isn't too far behind.

I think these guys were at the velvet a couple months ago and I passed on em. Big mistake on my part. Excellent heavy psych in the vein of Acid Mothers Temple.

Fun and trippy. Kinda reminds me of old Of Montreal but it's a little more electronic and less spastic.

This is so great. In the vein of Babes in Toyland's Fontanelle, which I loved back then. If Sleater Kinney had been any good, they would've sounded like this.

I was expecting dubstep and this is more of a hybrid of dubstep and dancehall reggae. Dancehall reggae has always irritated me.


Couple decent tracks on here, though.
