One of my favorites. Matter of fact, can we get them to reunite and perform this album in it's entirety live? Seth?

I mean, if Yaz can do it…right?!?!
Zach Hill - Astrological Straits

I think I'm going to need a good night's sleep before being able to take in all the chaotic insanity here.

It's just way too much right now.
freddie hubbard goin up with hank mobley

fabulous blue note jazz
Primal Scream - Beautiful Future

Almost three tracks in and diggin' it so far.

Two rockers and a catchy electro-soul track so far.

i'm definitely going to DL this and give it a spin - but i'll have to make a conscious effort to forget his terrible opening set for justice. hopefully he's like MGMT: way better in the studio than on stage.
The new James Jackson Toth (Wooden Wand).

Fucking abysmal.

Sad, really.

He put out some of the best weird folk I've heard in the past.

This album is as generic alt-country as it gets. Well I take that back; Sky Blue Sky is but this isn't too far behind.
Wooden Wand and the Vanishing Voice - Xiao

Ahh…better.
La Otracina - Crystals Wizards of the Cosmic Weird

I think these guys were at the velvet a couple months ago and I passed on em. Big mistake on my part. Excellent heavy psych in the vein of Acid Mothers Temple.
Kurt Weisman - Spiritual Sci-Fi

Fun and trippy. Kinda reminds me of old Of Montreal but it's a little more electronic and less spastic.

This is so great. In the vein of Babes in Toyland's Fontanelle, which I loved back then. If Sleater Kinney had been any good, they would've sounded like this.
The Bug - London Zoo

meh

I was expecting dubstep and this is more of a hybrid of dubstep and dancehall reggae. Dancehall reggae has always irritated me.

Couple decent tracks on here, though.
