If you enjoy Power Pop be sure to check this EP as two of my favs collaborated on a collection which touch on the various flavors of the genre…
Steve Roach - Quiet Music 1

This is very reminiscent of Music for Airports if a little “busier”

However, the thin line between ambient and new age is probably crossed here….

Roach has over 200 albums so I hope I don’t get too into his music…

Epic Soundtracks - Rise Above

Cool record…Kim Gordon, Lee Ranaldo and Mascis guest but it’s really all about Epic singing and playing piano.

So many cool records out there….
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds- Wild God

Bought it on cd and lp earlier today at the record store.

This is just absolutely fantastic. There is nobody else operating at this level.
Still listening to Wild God. Transcendent.

Maybe the best thing he’s ever done.

that's some high praise
I suppose only time can tell but I feel it’s up there with if not his best.

I can’t believe Nick is turning 67 this month.

Boot of 1993 Tower Records Chicago free show

So good… I burnt out on this so bad more than thirty years ago but finally able to listen to it…

Saw World Party/Wallinger at 930 I think….didn’t do it for me

RIP Karl
this metal-meets-bhangra bop has been making my head bob.  no, i don't expect many here to approve.
Revisiting Change and Uncanny Valley today…two albums that I never really cared for all that much (and one I think I listed two twice and never thought about again).  They held up better than I remember, though I think it might be due to the fact that Tidal inexplicably has Time Bomb dropped off of Change, which was always my least favorite D Plan song.

I’ll defend Change up and down but Uncanny Valley is terrible.

Change may be my favorite.  Uncanny Valley…..isn't.
I guess its' more:

* Change at the time wasn't what I loved about the Plan, so i never really revisited that often in the last 22+ years.  Pleasantly surprised how it hit in my old age.

* Uncanny Valley…still bad, but i HATED it when I listened last.  I didn't turn it off, so that's progress.

This is fair.
Magnetic Fields - The Charm of the Highway strip

Starting to acquire Genesis CDs. Shocked to find out that "Illegal Alien" is a Jorge Ben song.
