What Are You Listening To?

"Bronco" by Orville Peck. On KEXP.

This may be the fist time I've heard Orville Peck. I don't like it.
Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia - Really grew on me.  I think much better than the 2nd album.  Not as raw as their first, but a bit more interesting and diverse sound.  I blame the 9:30 show for my recent bout with Covid.
I can’t believe nobody in my family- as far as I know- has gotten it yet…

I got my second booster Sunday.
Hoping the streak continues for you and the family.  It wasn't enjoyable.

Sorry if that came off wrong

Glad you are better…

Nirvana "School" and "Breed" are the 2 most important songs of my forever.

This The Mysterines album has been in heavy rotation and one of the best albums I've heard this year
The whole album is great from start to finish

Highly recommended and looking forward to the show tonight at DC9
I had no idea

Bummed I’m going to miss this one.. and in true music snobbery while this a great listen, I prefer their earlier EPs… been a fan of theirs for a couple years now
For some reason I'm going through The Cure catalogue.  Good stuff!

So I do like their earlier stuff, but I feel this album has a much broader scope and cleaner sound

like this song All these things https://youtu.be/ag8cqB2-y6A
just such a great track, almost has a soul asylum/Concrete blonde vibe

this track too https://youtu.be/sfG5b8pW3pU ; Life's a Bitch (But I Like it So Much)
kind of a kim deal /hole vibe

their set list is almost totally Reeling too, 1 or 2 tracks from the eps (Hormone and love's not enough)
"Heads", by Ott

short version: blissfull, bouncy album for fans of psy-dub, psybient, dubtrobica, funky chillout, etc.

longer version: Ott has been working on this album for several years now, and there was huge pent up demand - so much so that the album is #1 on Bandcamp (currently only place to get it) since it was released last week.  it's even keeping thom yorke's latest side-project out of the #1 spot ;D  Ott has been associated with Shpongle, at times engineering, mixing and/or performing.  he used to be a sought-after studio guy but sounds like he's retired from engineering and is only producing his own music now.
Air - Walkie Talkie or whatever it’s called
The Who- live at Cap One, or whatever they call it.
That’s nice! Enjoy

I love this record.

Wish I had bought 18 cd version

Spearmint - Songs From The Colour Yellow

it's that kind of day for angsty pop songs
