arthur lee still has a golden voice, and his band rocks. this ain't no washed-up dinosaur act.
did anybody mention DIAMANDA GALAS @ the lisner on 10/14? that day sucks, as there's like four or five shows i'd see. i have no idea what i'm going to end up doing.

snailhook.. after running into the same predicament myself a few times recently, I've come to the conclusion that having too many show options is a GOOD problem to have :D
i think i just might have to go then. i've seen living colour 3 times already and this just seems to tempting to pass up.

The Golden Republic added to the Sondre Lerche bill at Iota on 10/26 (Who are they?)
Don't know who they are, but www.cmt.com usually has Iota shows long before Pollstar. That one's been up for weeks.

this is goona be tough - by all account her new cd is crap (and copy protected to boot) but I do love her first two albums

And in my opinion, it does suck big time. Worse than her first two albums, which I didn't particularly care for.
Why Kasey Chambers has the ability to command $25 for a 9:30 Club show and other similiar, better acts are relegated to Iota or Jammin Java, I'll just never know.

Dead Milkmen are playing a double benefit show. One of the organizations to benefit is mpoweryouth.org , musicians for mental
health. The other is The Dave Blood Foundation which sends funds to a monastery in Serbia which cares for orphaned kids, many of whom were
orphaned during the war. The show's gonna be at the Trocadero on a Sunday. November 21st
Dead milkmen havent played a show in 10 years. Other bands on the bill are Nixon's Head and F. O. D. the show should start at 7pm.
