Surprise! Three Nights at the Club!
THIEVERY CORPORATION (Live)
January 21 ? 22 ? 23

On Sale Thursday, November 19 at 10am through Ticketfly.com

VIP and multiple night packages available!

friday and saturday shows are now sold out.  i suspect that thursday tickets won't last much longer either.

just created a thread to take all the thievery talk out of JA: http://www.930.com/forum/index.php?topic=19808
For Joe:

Sun Dec 27-  WYE OAK  $10 Backstage 9:00 (On sale 11/20)

Wed Feb 3-  ALBERTA CROSS, HACIENDA $10 Backstage 9:00 (On sale 11/27)

Yay for Alberta Cross.  Great live band.  They sound sort of like Band of Horses but with a dark, sinister edge.  Check them out if you are into the My Morning Jacket/Band of Horses type thang.
Tickets for the Hot Chip show at Terminal 5 go on sale today at Noon. Anyone have any info on the DC sale date?

i supposed we're going to have to wait until 10 am tomorrow to find out what the deal is with the thievery VIP tix… i'm interested, and it's annoying (and poor marketing) to not have any info available about them before they go on sale.

you should reserve judgment until the ticket prices are published, doncha thunk?  if you go to ticketfly, single-show tickets are listed as $10-$50 (thursday night are even listed as $0-$50, but that's probably a typo).  i'm betting $50 are VIPs, so maybe some/all regular tickets will only be $10 (but again, there is a lack of info here…)

I am thinking of making the trip up North for one of these show? Any idea what VIP usually entails for a show at 9:30??

Per the e-mail from ESL Music:

"If you are interested in more than just the standard concert-going experience, check out the VIP ARTIST EXPERIENCE package. This special package includes a ticket to see Thievery Corporation on the night of your choice, a limited edition 9:30 Club / Thievery Corporation t-shirt, a Radio Retaliation cd, access to the Official Flying Dog Sponsored Pre-Party Artist Meet & Greet and tickets to the Official Thievery Corporation afterparty at the infamous 18th Street Lounge. Fans who select this package will also have access to the VIP viewing area during the show. This offer is only available for a limited amount of time, so please act quickly to ensure that you can be a part of the Thievery Corporation Artist Experience!"

I just got a few of these too.  Awesome.  Scream opening for the Damned at the old club was my 2nd or 3rd punk show…..it totally blew my teenage mind.

Yes!  Got my tickets.  8)  I'm smelling a sell out in the next few days.  Anybody think they move it to the mainstage if it sells out fast?  I for one hope that doesn't happen.  Should be a crazy show in the backroom.
Capone and Noreaga opening for Raekwon. Nice.
