How did people vote? Postcards? 1-800-bowie90?
I saw a band do the "you pick the set" thing once where you voted on slips of paper when you came in, they totaled them during the openers, then they played the winners. I forget who it was, but I know it was at Canal Club. Definitely a punk band. Holy Moses, why can't I remember?
Jennifer O'Connor added to Robyn Hitchcock show…hells yeah!

Saw that…might have to make this show, since I've never seen Hitchcock live and haven't seen O'Connor since she played with Portastatic a couple years ago on the Backstage. O'Connor is pretty terrific, and I wish her last album wasn't so totally ignored by everyone.

File under WTF…

Hoobastank

Kegs & Eggs (?!?)

Someone tell me Kegs & Eggs is really an alley with some kegs to drink away the sounds of Hoobastank and some eggs to throw at them.

After the Washingtonian listed it on their Weekend picks, I had to dig some more - Free admission but it's 21+, doors open at 7:15 am!  And it's not just Hoobastank…it's also Filter and Carbon Leaf.  Still falls into the category of WTF

I may do Seattle if I can find other things going on at around that time.
Still have an unused plane ticket that expires soon.
