We learned this Fall not to buy tickets in hopes of our daughter joining us. Apparently, she'd rather stay home alone than join her parents at 9:30 and Union Stage shows.

Woah, Nada Surf. That's a real score. One of my all time favorite bands.

I always try to catch the free Pietasters and Bill Kirchen shows. I'll be on vacation during the former, but will attend the latter.

I once saw the Box Tops at an oldies show. It was probably 30 years ago, and it was an oldies show then. I'm pretty sure Alex Chilton was part of that show, but he won't be part of this one.
