But it's like they're doing some kind of recon to be sure they always book a night with 2 - 4 other options/shows. Wasn't it the Decemberists' show that was also the night of Madonna, the High Strung at Black Cat, something good at Velvet Lounge and in B'more?!? I have seen 'em twice, so I shouldn't complain…

Some interesting/cool concerts coming up at Nation that I didn't know about, until now:
Monday September 6th: Faith And The Muse
Thursday September 16th: Icon Of Coil, The Cruxshadows, The Azoic
Thursday November 4th: Laibach, Bonfire Of Madigan
I am most excited about the Icon Of Coil and Laibach gigs - I've seen both bands before - just hope I can go to the concerts (can't afford too many!).

I'm with you, Bede. I'm STILL smarting from that Rollins, Helmet and Sausage show at Wilmer's Park being canceled (something like 10-12 years ago maybe?). Much worse than that Bull Run fiasco, if you ask me.
