[qb] Oh, and it's a mortal sin to say "the punk band Unwritten Law" when they are listed with SxDx and NY Dolls.
I agree, I was just trying to cut off the "who the hell is Unwritten law" question before it got asked.

Can you honestly expect 99.1 percent of an HFstival crowd understanding the importance of the New York Dolls? this bites…
Haha… over on HFStival.com, people are prognosticating NY Dolls on the street stage. "I've never heard of them before!" What's a guy to do?
which confirms my intial thought of the New York Dolls being pelted with cups during their set… The irony is that most of the bands on the bill wouldn't exist had it not been for the Dolls.
Is Saturday Night Live crooner Buster Poindexter still the lead singer of the NY Dolls? Man, I loved him on that show.
Anybody hear the song "Have Mercy" on WOXY today?

Quite good. Kind of a Black Keys-vibe going on.

Has anyone listened to the album?

I didn't see it announced via their newsletter, but I did see this listed on their website:
Rams Head Live
Ed Harcourt
4/18
The album is really really good. Don't let the God stuff scare you. If you were a fan of the last two Superdrag albums, you'll like this. I saw John play in Knoxville a couple of weeks ago. Good show although his new band can't hold a handle to the last Superdrag line-up. Looking forward to the Iota show.
