Just Announced

I was on the fence about going to it, but I ended up loving it. He did surprisingly well at recreating JD's music in the live setting, and his band was spot on. Really good crowd too.

He'll be doing Closer this time around, which is indeed ambitious, and alot of other JD songs (Last show included Warsaw and Digital amongst others). I'll be there for sure.

Restaurant directly across the street from the club. It has a lot of promise but they really need a new PA.

They could, theoretically pull a Jay Z or Madonna out of their asses for the grand opening seeing as they own both of them.

The meltdown would be epic.  Live Nation hate + U2 hate together in one thread.

people at concerts nowadays sure can be rude to total strangers.  i think they've all been conditioned by the "safeness by computer screens" so they think they can say whatever to anybody.

went to see pat benatar . . . and man, there are some really out of shape fat guys who think they can just say what they want to people at concerts.  and boy they get upset when you hear what they said and stare at them.  no wonder serial killers exist.  some people really do suck.
