Black Francis (solo show)
July 15th, Avalon Theatre
Easton, MD

Kinda weird, but I have been to a few shows here, the place is fantastic, wonderful acoustics and a great "small town feel". Everyone who plays there falls in love with it. Another bonus. I ALWAYS run into the artist inside or outside the venue and get to speak with them. Very laid back. I'll hit this show and then head to my condo over on the shore. Great way to start a nice mini vacation!
Nice.

Well I guess this rules them out for Vfest right Sethy??
i find it very strange that 2 very Vfest bands (Vfest veterans in fact, from year 1) are bookending the weekend that is supposedly Vfest at the same location.

What if Vfest was a 4 night thing with a headlining show each night?

I don't know how ticketing would work, but the Lips, some band, Blink, Killers are all festival-esque in size.

Has it been confirmed as just August 30th, though?
some details were revealed to people who work at the venue, but nothing public.
That was easy.

EDIT: And before someone asks since it's not listed on the venue's site or ticketmaster, it just went out as a Facebook newsblast from the venue.

I have no idea the difference between the two or how tickets are allocated. Ticketstobuy is the less used one, and has lower charges, but will The National allocate any tickets to them for a show such as this? Who knows?

Just bought my MBV ticket via ticketstobuy.com.
