Jens Lekman show is now up on ticketmaster - Oct 25th - $12, on sale this Friday I think. Bring it on
:D

this show is going to be so fucking packed … what was he thinking not booking at 930?

Does he have any music playing in tv commercials or commercial radio? If not, I agree with you.
Originally posted by Hoya Paranoia:Yeah, I'm not so sure it will be packed either. DC is a very fickle audience. Some bands can grow quickly here, but generally not without them playing the city at least once. Though, I have been proven wrong before, I bet this doesn't sell out till day of, if at all…

Originally posted by RatBastard:I love that place…its so raw. And last time I was there, sodas were no more than $2, the same price as cans of PBR…plus domestic beers were $3 and premiums were $4.
Alley Katz sucks wet dirt. It is surprising that the fire marshall allows the place to remain open. The equipment sucks. The sounds system brekas at most shows. Its filthy and even the soft drink prices are absurd. I'll be glad when it finally goes away.
Originally posted by slowgraffiti:i agree about the risk of playing your first DC gig at 930, but i really believe his following is bigger than you think … my small cross-section could obviously be way off the norm, but a lot of people i know really like him and have been waiting for him to come to DC, plus he has the requisite highly-rated pitchfork review and blogosphere fawning
