Most parents are proud of their kid going to college and want to talk about it, which I am trying to give him an opening to do so, but since this is an online forum and people have different levels of what they want to share, I was trying to word it in such a way that gives him an "out" to say "I do not want to share this info" without feeling like a goon.

She refuses to practice her driving and doesn't want to take the driving test. Also, most schools don't allow freshman to have a car on campus.

Accepted at three Virginia state schools (including the one she wanted), and wait listed at two others. Rejected by none.
