I would imagine he meant handing out flyers to his or his crews upcoming shows. Since everyone there would of been a hip hop fan, it could of been a good chance to spread the word.
Just Announced

If you're a fan of hip hop, you should just buck up and pay the money to see the show. You shouldn't base going to concerts on if they allow you to promote yourself.

Any festival that's over $100 for a day, I'm not going to. Unless Queens Of The Stone Age or Daft Punk is there. Just insane.

It appears that Tricky will not be playing U St next month.

Daft Punk makes you willing to pay 100 dollars to go to a festival? Two guys in robot costumes on top of a pyramid pressing the play button? I saw them at a festival once and left after 20 minutes out of boredom. I do like their earlier records. Their new stuff is bottom of the barrel pop music.

Yeah you have to save up your money for your 200 dollar sneakers and your 100 dollar bottles of cognac.
I asked the guy at the liquor store the other day why are all the cognac bottles behind the counter and he said since rapers started drinking cognac in their videos the poor people have started trying to steal it all.

More like affluent white kids have moved on from terrible hip hop to terrible electronic music.

12 Oct - the Dougout
Two Inch Astronaut, Hive Bent, and Scott Russell (A Guide to Rational Living)
Hey showlist, i pulled this one off of your site. I am almost positive that Scott wants this project to be called A Guide to Rational Living, instead of his name.

The rapers / rappers typo is pretty brilliant.
