I wasn't criticizing the Feelies.
I was criticizing (if you want to call it that, Ill call it "commenting to") the person who said the Ottobar was a good fit. At their ages, I would imagine the Feelies would rather be playing larger venues than shitty dive bars that hold 450 people.

At your age, I would imagine you would rather be doing something other than peeing in people's cheerios.

60 minutes segment about Rodriguez on air now.
Everything up to their interview with him was copy/pasted straight from the movie. Never seen them do that before.
Still a great bit, though.
everybody go to that new club in adams morgan someplace.  below a subway somewhere.  called tropicali.  it was neat.  youth meets old people . . . and nobody cares what you wear, because it is so dark down there.
I don't have tine to go through all the BS in this thread, so sorry if it was already posted…

i am assuming this is for his weirdo christmas album coming out in nov.  i am not a fan of christmas albums and i see them as something people perceive as "neat" but never actually listen to.  polyphonic spree is doing the same thing.  they should tour together and save the gas.
ok guys, go get her!

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have a marriage that always makes those lists of Hollywood relationships that endure.

Sadly, it appears we must cross it off those lists.

Via both Entertainment Tonight and ABC News, DeVito?s rep, Stan Rosenfeld, has confirmed that DeVito, 67, and Perlman, 64, have separated after 30 years of marriage. The couple has two daughters, Lucy and Grace, and a son, Jacob, all of whom are in their 20s.
I believe the Satellite Room opens behind 9:30 this week.
Giving people the opportunity to complain about another Hilton Bros. joint and the imminent decrease (however small) in parking around the club.

They announced the final batch of bands for Maryland Death Fest next year (Which is going to be held at Sonar under new management!) Highlights include The Melvins, Down, Ufomammut and The Obsessed (!) They also announced that the Baltimore SoundStage will be taking part too, hosting a bunch of hardcore bands like Converge, Citizen's Arrest, Full of Hell, Magrudergrind and Weekend Nachos, etc.

This is going to be an amazing time for anyone remotely into heavy music.
Intrigued by the hardcore bands you've mentioned there.  Will definitely want to see the entire line up for that part of the festival.

Edit: seen it.  You caught most of the bands I'd want to see.  Like Rats is really good, too.

The metal line up isn't all that great, imo.  A few good bands but not enough to draw me in  for $40 or so per night.
