Occasionally. Obviously with their Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays prebooked by EDM groups, they don't pull the concert lineups they used to, but yes, every mnoth or so an actual band will play there.
And to answer someone's question, I've seen DCFC three times, and while they're not "30 times better live" or anything like that, I had no complaints.

I wouldnt have been surprised if they played DAR
didn't belle & sebastian play DAR? that would have been my first guess for DCFC … or maybe two nights at 930 … it just seems like they should be in the roseland ballroom size clubs now
and yes, sugartastic, i'm a complete fucking idiot and i think they should be headlining the MCI Center

The only thing that will suck about this show is that it's a definite sell out. I am hoping to attend and should probably get a ticket sometime soon.

shouldn't that Death Cab For Cutie backlash train be pulling into the station anytime now?

To be honest, I'm shocked - shocked! - it didn't hit upwards of a year ago. I'm fully awaiting the new album being dubbed "biggest sellout ever" in a month when it comes out. (I haven't heard it yet.)

wish they had their own show here…they do on the West Coast, but maybe they'll make it around alone. Will be cool to see them at 9:30, though.

Concerts at the Nation suck, the sight lines are horrible.

Yes, we all know that. No one was saying it's a good place for a concert.

i certainly haven't been. i caught them about 3.5 years ago because i was recording them for a friend. terrible. i really felt like i wasted my time going to that show.
i found myself at the stage they were playing at at coachella in 04 talking to some friends while they were setting up, but i made sure to get the hell out of there before they started playing.

wow. this is my first musical act post on the just announced thread. i feel so apart of the "our gang" clan. i'll be that other black kid, not buckwheat, but the other one, whose name now escapes me. i think he had braided hair tied with little, white rags for ribbon.

they are supporting their second album and this is the last night of the tour. (sweet . . . no, super sweet!)
