Frederick Reads Michelle Zauner
Weinberg Center for the Arts
10/17

Join Michelle Zauner as she discusses her New York Times bestselling memoir, Crying in H Mart,  an unflinching, powerful memoir about growing up Korean-American, losing her mother, and forging her own identity. She is currently adapting the memoir for the screen for MGM’s Orion Pictures. In this in-conversation event, Zauner shares how she connected with her mother and her heritage through food, and the profound healing that can be unlocked through stories that show communities in all their complexity.

Free. And tempting because my kid is currently reading the book. But 7pm in Frederick on a weeknight? I'd only wish that drive on people who choose to live there.

I checked my purchase history from last year.  It was announced in September and went on sale 9/19/22.  I have been holding off on Porno For Pyros tickets in hopes that they do it again.

I'm glad they're doing this. I wonder why considering after that big awesome rock festival there in around 2015 the feds decided not to have music festivals there anymore because interest groups were upset.
Sidehatch one step closer to getting his festival in his backyard
