Ah ok, thanks.

Whartscape isn't very well known in the area. I live in Towson and most people haven't even heard of it even if they're pretty big music people. However, I would think booking Beach House will draw a lot of interest this year.
How many floors in H and H are performance spaces? I have only been to Floristree. It looks as if they are making use of the entire building.

The Saturday and Sunday night caps look fantastic.

Really? I live in NoVA and have known about it for years. Maybe from reading this board.

the other floors of the H&H are art galleries basically - although they have had bands and such perform there as well.  Not really that big…its going to be packed….and hot. i only live 5 blocks from the h&h + current space so it will be nice to be able to take breaks when I need to this year.
Kele tour canceled. Poor ticket sales I bet.
Rogue Wave/Midlake 10/1
Kruder and Dorfmeister (live) 10/11 ($45 though?)
And after that trainwreck of a Dorfmeister set in 2005, I just don't know…
The Tallest Man On Earth
10/03
9:30
and where are you seeing that K&D date?

and for $45? Wow.

Sunday's schedule is pretty amazing:

Beach House, Xiu Xiu, Health, Celebration, Wye Oak,  Future Islands, Lower Dens, Ducktails,  Dinosaur Feathers etc.

Not to crazy about Saturday but Friday looks good.

I wonder if Beach House, Spank Rock, and Celebration are the special suprise guests and the line-up is done or are there any more suprises coming.
Shit why cant Spank Rock play on Saturday or Sunday (though Ive seen him enough times already…)?  I think I am going to get day passes for those two days.  Anybody know of any decent motels/hotels in the area?  This is all right near the Metro Gallery right?

I saw Kruder on St. Patty's Day 2007 at a club above a strip club in Denver.  It was a good time.
yeah new location for Whartscape this year - west of Mt Vernon Place.  BTW if anyone is going to see the Universal Order of Armageddon reunion, you have to reserve a spot per directions on http://www.whamcity.com/
A $10-15 show at U St. Hall sounds like a much better situation in which to see K+D IMO. Does anybody really think they will sell more tickets than what that room holds?

for $45 I'd be surprised if they sold 200 tickets at the club.
I'm thinking Twin Stumps and The New Flesh will be playing in the same room as UOA at Whartscape. That's going to be a violent night.

Yay violence!
