Well, that warms my heart.  Mekons at the original 9:30 was the first date (1988) for my wife and I.  Next October, we'll celebrate 35 years of marital bliss :)
Congratulations!

What’s left of the mekons?
Sorry dude…I already get all my marriage and family advice from Space.

Their 80's lineup looks pretty intact.
Wow might have to check that out…
$35

I am going to try to get a ticket tomorrow.

Fear and Whiskey from 1985 is arguably the original alternative country album. Hopefully they will spotlight it for its 40th anniversary along with new material.

I wonder if this means a reissue campaign is afoot. His 80s solo albums have some of the biggest 80s hits still missing from streaming

so I am now interested in this show
so does anyone know what the deal is with the GA?

are they bad or is it a small place?
Never been ..I assume there are good GA spots but first come first served and need to deal with rabble
AC/DC
May 12
Landover
I saw Tim Heidecker there a few years ago.  That was all GA as I recall, so you'd just sit where you could.  It wasn't a huge place as I recall, but it was an annoying set-up IMO.  Probably just me as I hate seated shows and I also hate getting to shows early to get a good spot.

I'm going to the Kim Deal show, but I ponied up for the Premiere Plus, just to make sure I didn't have to rush in.  But I wouldn't go to this place if it wasn't a show i REALLY needed to see.
