Yes.

Do you know if he is going to be solo or with one of his bands. I would love to see him solo again, almost as much as I would love to see GGW singing along to power in the union, again.

Isn't that when the Sisters of Mercy were going to be playing.

It seems that March might end my concert hibernation.
i'm surprised nobody mentioned this one yet (or maybe i just missed it):

THE UNDERTOW ORCHESTRA FEATURING
VIC CHESNUTT
MARK EITZEL (OF AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB)
DAVID BAZAN (OF PEDRO THE LION)
WILL JOHNSON (OF CENTRO-MATIC)

2/10 and 2/11 @ iota.

Isn't that when the Sisters of Mercy were going to be playing. No that is the 7th. I am not sure I could do 3 concerts in a week though.

It seems that March might end my concert hibernation.

I have no idea what you are talking about…..

_____________

It looks like it is either a solo show or Bill with Ian McLagan on keys.

Add this to the growing list of great shows I'll be missing this winter. Colin Meloy, Deerhoof, Ted Leo, New Pornographers, Clap Your Hands, Pogues.

Double YAY!!

Good catch, Redsock. ;)

The High Dials say they love playing in DC and have had some of their better shows here/there. Plus, they always pack the house in DC.
Strange, I'll be missing Colin Meloy or Bob Pollard (catching Deerhoof at the Ottobar), but for an entirely different reason.

Yeah to the High Strung live, certainly going to be better live experience than CYHSY. And they must be HOTT as the Bass Player got a writeup in Bass Player magazine.
The National at the Black Cat 3/15. From their website:

We are planning a short East Coast and West Coast tour in mid/late March, which will include, finally, a show in Washington DC. The rumors that we have something against playing DC are, alas, untrue! We have a few dates to announce already - the rest will be announced shortly:

3/15: Black Cat, Washington DC
3/22: Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto
3/24: Double Door, Chicago
The Prodigy @ Nation
Thu. 3/23

F'ing quadruple YAY!

Thanks for the good news. The last time they played DC I remember there were about 15 people watching them. I trust it will not be like that this time.
March is scaring the bejesus out of me. It looks more and more like I'm in for 10-15 nights of shows in a row (including SXSW). I can't do it, I tell you, I can't do it!?!?

And yet I'm also missing Pollard, Meloy, Ted Leo, Deerhoff, Clap Your Hands. Looks like the slow season is over (for me, December was VERY slow).
