I was gone for the board for years and I still get like 85% of the references. I love you guys.

Check out their website. It looks like Francisco/Fico changed up the color of  his hair. Either that or he's the pansexual on the right.

In person, or on tv? The latter for me.

I also saw Ron Kittle play in the minor leagues, in person. And a slew of 1980's Red Wings, when they were in the minors.

Saw the A's about a dozen times as a Bay Area kid in the 70s.
I saw Thurman Munson and Lyman Bostock. That's all I've got.
Wow Munson

didn’t you see Reggie with that Yankees team?

I saw a total of ONE MLB game in my first 26ish years until i moved to Baltimore in 1993. This was it, at Yankee Stadium:

https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/NYA/NYA197809300.shtml

Ed Figueroa pitched a five hit shutout to become the first Puerto Rican pitcher two win 20 games in a season. Reggie hit his 349th career home run. The Yankees won to stay on pace with the Red Sox. It was the 161st game of the year. They ended the season tied with the Sox, beating them in a one game playoff to win the division and later went on to win the World Series.

When the final out was made, someone in the crowd came up from behind me and flicked my Red Sox hat into the crowd. 11 year old me turned around ready to fight, only to discover it was my best friend who had done it.

Thurman Munson died the following August.
That’s a pretty awesome first game….Reggie Jackson was my first favorite player…Graig, Bucky…Munson of course

I read quite a few books on the 77-78 Yankees…what a bunch of characters
Billy Martin!

My first game was a school field trip in 1986 to see San Francisco Giants…all I remember is how cloudy and dreary it was and Candlestick Park sucked

My first favorite team was probably the Hanshin Tigers

Quite surprising, honestly. If anything I think they would book Anthem - NXT was incredible there. WWE has a tough time drawing at Cap One these days but given that it's the debut of AEW I guess enough buzz will draw.

Reggie sat out the game.

God, I'm old.

Edit: just read Space's post (wow!). I saw the O's/Yanks in 77, the year Reggie flipped to the NY. July 10th, O's won 6-0. A rookie Eddie Murray homered.

Summer of '82 while he was with the Royals.  My old man made it a point to go see him when they came through Anaheim thinking he was going to be done soon.  I may have also seen him in the late 70's when he was with the A's, but I don't recall it even if I did.
