8/30/08 Red Rocks - the most recent show, I think.
Add that to the list of shows skipping DC.

I heard their new album, wasn't anything to get excited about.

I find this totally strange.
this was announced earlier, but apparently you didnt know who he was without fotc attached :p
Yeah, I got it off the main page. And no I have no other connection with him other than FOTC. I knew he was a comedian before.

Awkward guy on stage for 45 minutes for 25 bucks? Why not.

of course, if it doesnt spit up and poop itself, you aren't going to get excited about it anyway!

YESSSS!!!!!

Ive been waiting for them to headline 930 for like 4 years now. FINALLY
Didn't they headline the Black Cat right after Death by Sexy came out?

I thought I read something about James Murphy doing a DJ set as part of that H&LA NYC show too.

the parking ticket says 9 so the bad brains show will end early.. Wonder if theyll start something in dc after the show or if they just wanna get home and watch the electorals. Either way im glad now because i was worried about riots.

When I first read Samantha's post I skimmed through it too fast and thought that it was Scars who would be a perfect match with The Duke Spirit. Then I read your post and realized that it's a whole different band. Don't know anything about them but if they are anything like System Of A Down, I can't at all imagine them with The Duke Spirit. Sometimes I wonder about some bookings.

Yeah, then they opened for Joan Jett a few months later at the club.
Losing track here. Has anyone mentioned the free Ned's Atomic Dustbin show coming up in London? All original members.

Will get the details if anyone is interested.
I saw that…good gawd, I'd kill to see the original Ned's again, Rat didn't play on the later tours at all. Last time I saw the original five was in January of 1993 at the Riviera in Chicago. Good times.
