Same here. I missed Stars last time they played Black Cat. The Elected would be an added bonus, so I hope it's true.

it's not "everywhere else".
you can buy tickets for places like nyc, philly, atlanta here locally, but i wasn't able to buy tickets here for detroit last time i tried.
i think it's somewhat regional, but dc is still a no-go.

That's peculiar, because Detroit is one of the places I have in fact bought tickets for. To be fair, it was winter 2002 though, so it may have changed.

well, the time i am speaking of was spring 2000, so it might have changed since then. i had a friend that worked at a record store that was a tm outlet at the time and he told me i couldn't get them through there, so..
