Just Announced

I think so.

You may also dig Earthless given your jamband fandom. Not a jamband per se but they do improvise a lot. Slightly heavier and more psychedelic.
Any chance we can get a presale for Bloc Party?

Those should be GREAT!
Holy cow, I could not be happier to hear that Earthless is coming. I absolutely love these guys – anyone that puts out a one-hour album made up of two tracks is aiiight by me. Witch is fine too, but Earthless brings the hard-guitar jammy goodness. C'mon walkytalky, you'll love it.

Here's to hoping they bring it to DC at the 930 Club on the 5th or the 8th.

Heyyyyy Seth!?
You aren't kidding.

"Maneater" live would be the most epic shit ever.

Any H&O show with "I Can't Go For That", "Maneater", "Out of Touch", and "Private Eyes" is going to be entirely and completely fucking amazing.

Not to mention, they're in their 60's!

I mean, look at this!

Still got it.
i too would LOVE to see H&O.

in other news, just saw this:
Bob Mould
Birchmere, Alexandria, VA
Tue, 4/07/2009

is this a band show?  or has blowoff moved out to the 'burbs? :D
That would actually make for a great marquee.

One night only!
The Bears Vs. The Birchmere!
The Homosexuals
3/4
Johnny Brendas
Philly

Their set at the Velvet was my sleeper show of '08.

Such an incredibly tight band and Bruno is significantly older than HR yet has 10x the energy and actually cares about putting on a good show.
