Not at the rip off prices they are asking for this tour.  $200+ for good seats.  As if.

Where have you found what the ticket prices are?  I've been looking around and haven't found them yet.

Do they still take 800 years to set up for a festival?  This would be fun, but not if most of the time is spent watching Wayne set up all that crap for 2 hours.
Flaming Lips->Acid Mothers Temple could make for a nice hallucinogenic night.
flaming lips and moe?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

catch breathe walkonby.  hold onto a door if you have to.  oh, my, god . . . . i am so there.  see, i told you dc is the new, new new.
I'm pretty sure you'd seriously love Acid Mothers Temple. You'll be in the area already if you're going to this thing.
Do we have any idea what time the Lips and moe would hit the stage?

I hope they perform nude!

they do radiohead covers?
That's such a Rhett response (if Rhett were well-versed in Radiohead's catalog).

Do any of those acts have tunes about the environment?  I always wish they'd book Adrian Belew for it

Hey guys so how is this usually set up like where would the stage be and what not.  Only thing I have ever attended on the mall was the concert for Obama thing and that was nuts.
Last year's show there was near the National Gallery Of Art just before 4th St.  (so you're facing the Capitol).

I would hope the Lips put a minimum of effort into Sunday's show for once. I've seen them three times and the last two times I saw them it was the same shit, same songs, same gimmicks.

Those sons and daughters of bitches…I was afraid they'd pull something like this. Actually entertaining the idea of a last-minute trip right now.
