Perhaps the worst band in the history of terrible music. It's like the fat guy from Lost singing emo lyrics based on comic book characters he invented, then wrapped in the worst excesses of guitar wankery ever recorded. It's Rush for the Hot Topic scene.
I thought their last album was decent. IT flows well and tells a story. Its one of the only cds i listen to where i actually can picture whats going on. But, I can see how soem might get turned off by the singers voice and the guitar work. to each their own. I personally can't see how anyone can like QOTSA. When they opened for nine inch nails in 2005, I browsed the t shirts during their set.

That is probably the most accurate description of Coheed that I've ever heard.
he sounds kind of like the chick from rush.

i had the misfortune of seeing coheed & cambria open for explosions in the sky back in 2002. pretty funny, though, thinking back at that situation. …but they weren't very good then either. there were a whole.. 25(?) people at the show. something like that.

Perhaps saving to see an otolaryngologist would be a better use of your resources than concert going right now, I'd be willing to start a fund, I mean your issues seem much more pressing than what this guy <img src="http://www.charity.com/uploads/jl-shelly-450pix.jpg" alt=" - " /> is normally begging for funds to cover, but hell when he gets wind of your condition I'm sure he'll see the urgency for a telethon to cover it too. Help is on the way….

whatever. everyone has their own musical tastes as i stated in my post. me liking Coheed has nothing to do with my health and or hearing. I was trying to present a different perspective to people who might be interested in seeing this band. And if your statement is directed towards my thinking QOTSA is one of the most overrated and unlistenable bands ever, i stand by my opinions.

i don't see what the big deal is about black dice.
maybe it's partially because i saw them six times and their "set" was exactly the same "noise" every single night…. but then again i also didn't even find it interesting the first time.
Anyone get FLOOR Springsteen tickets?

I got 2 on the floor. I would have rather had seats in the 100-level, but I wasn't about to throw these back. I got 'em around 10:10, too.
Couldn't pull any FLOOR seats and for $100 that's what i was looking for… If anyone has a single please let me know!
