I paid $28.75 after fees.

And just to keep this on topic, Appetite for Destruction, "The Ultimate Tribute to Guns n' Roses", is playing the State Theater on Sunday, August 2nd.  I believe this is the one without the member of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

According to boblinks.com, a pretty reliable site:

I'm not sure how I feel about this.  I love Dylan, even nowadays, and I've heard Willie is still worth seeing, but Mellencamp?  Hmm…

maybe i am just a cynic . . .  but green day at verizon?  they can even sell beyond the two hundred sections there?  good for them, i like them, but i just don't see it.
Funny you mention that…I was flipping past that Palladia channel and I guess they were showing that live DVD Green Day put out.  They were playing for a fucking SEA of people.  Not sure if I'm out of touch or what, but I couldn't believe it.  How did they get that big???

i'm usually out of touch on these things, but for once i'm aware of GD's popularity and no, i don't find it surprising at all that they're booked at verizon.  this show will sell very well.  their last album spent weeks at #1 and sold over 12 million copies.  there is a LOT of anticipation for their new album and their stage show is huge.

back in 2005 or 2006, they played MPP.  i got a good pull and scored row TT tickets off to one side.  i threw them back, and got lawn.  threw them back, and got sold out.

It's not necessarily breaking news.. but I figured I'd throw it here because I have a question.

Are they any good anymore?  I haven't followed them much lately and last saw them years ago at what was once the capital ballroom (the new name slips my mind completely).
