I didnt enjoy him, but I probably am not the best judge, I dont like his recorded material either
Man, either I'm getting way too picky, or this is just shaping up to be a really lame Spring relative to other Springs, concert-wise.
My March is frickin' jam-packed. Though I do have to sell Ambulance Ltd and Secret Machines tickets due to a last minute trip.

His flow is ridiculous! He's like a machine-gun at times. The crowd didn't really have any energy until the very end of his set, but his talent pretty much willed the audience to get into what he was doing. I'll definitely check him out again.

Yes, he's very very very good. I saw him open for someone last year at 930, the streets? His flow is so absolutley disgustingly good, I wanted to scream at times.

Unfortunately, I understand maybe 30% (and that's generous) of what he says live. It takes me 10-15 listens of one of his CD tracks to understand his words, but it's completely worth it.

But you don't need to even understand a single word he says to enjoy his live show, his flow is that good. He did an a-capella rant that was just astonishing.

That's almost as big a bummer as Markie's encounter with the sidewalk. You'll be missed!
Angels of Light - 05-17 - IOTA Cafe
i saw dizzee last year at the 9:30 and i thought his performance far outshone the streets who were headlining. i don't think a lot of people in the audience knew what to expect from dizzee so the crowd was pretty lame. i'm glad he's coming back tho…now i just have to decide between him and the animal collective at the black cat.

that Secret Machines , Autolux, Moving units lineup is the best triple bill since Metallica, Guns n roses and Faith no more….
I'm sorry, but Neil Young, Sonic Youth and Social Distortion shall forever remain the best triple bill ever.

I was at that show at RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, NY. The Neil Young fans thought SD was okay, but they started booing and throwing shit at Sonic Youth after about the second song.

but the best triple bill was Old 97's/ Southern Culture on the Skids/ Backsliders

and the worst was Red Hot Chili Peppers/Smashing Pumpkins/Pearl Jam, though I missed almost all of Pearl Jam due to a late arrival.
