(Before you ask, no DC show)

* Line-up notes:
"More exciting news: the band is welcoming two familiar faces back to the live line-up:
George Donoso III on drums (ex-Dears) and Eric Dougherty (The Rothschilds) on keys.
New member Charles Prénoveau-Giguère will be making his debut in the band on bass.
The band are out to recapture their fullest-possible live sound complete with the beautiful
three-part harmonies that mark their recordings."
Did anyone see their most recent show in DC (high dials).  A friend told me today it was not so hot, that they were a shade of their former selves.
^ Haven't seen them live since Rhishi left but would sort of expect what you just said to be the case since he was always one of the most important aspects of that band. He, Robbie and Trevor. The rest are good but, as we've witnessed, replacable. Lose one of the 3 and, essentially, you've lost one third of the band.
This one will make BookerT happy although he most likely already knows of it:
Ty Segall 8/11 DC9
edit: nevermind.
Does anyone know if there will be a presale for the Arcade Fire show? They had presales for almost every other gig last week.

2 Wye Oak shows at RRH within a month?
^Makes Joe a happy hipster.

It appears the second show is with Lou Barlow who they are doing an entire tour with.
I would love to catch a Barlow solo set but that Missingmen band ruined his set opening for Dino Jr. at the club last year. They weren't too hot backing Mike Watt opening for Dino Jr. at the Ottobar, either.
For Samantha (does she even hang around these parts anymore?):
